When it comes to platform games, one name now stands tallest, well among the gaming greats like Mario and Sonic. Rayman has been dashing and sprinting through levels like there is no tomorrow.

And now Ubisoft has launched Rayman Fiesta Run on the Windows Store.

This brand new game is based on the very popular Rayman Jungle Run, and brings along 75 amazing levels in 4 wonderful worlds for players to play through. This, to go with a number of powers for our main character, Rayman.

Details below, right after the official description:

“Join legendary platforming hero Rayman for a new adventure on your favorite mobile device! If you enjoyed Rayman Jungle Run, winner of the App Store’s BEST of 2012, you will love Rayman Fiesta Run and its new wacky Fiesta world! Lunge for cocktail umbrellas, leap on limes and punch those piñatas…the sky’s the limit!”

Bosses are the real charm of games like these, and Rayman Fiesta Run offers 3 new epic bosses that players have to defeat to reach the Land of the Livid Dead Island. A new invasion mode is also available.

The game also comes with plenty of sharing options built in that allow players to post their achievements on Facebook, along with the ability to follow their friends on the world map. The audio and visual presentation couldn’t be better, save for a few textures that are a little on the blurry side.

Al said and done, this is one of the best games available for users of Microsoft’s modern platform, and it also supports all versions of Windows 8.1, including the ARM based ones. Take it for a run for $2.99.

  2. This looks great, Fahad! I love the rayman games too. Just a little typo notice. You forgot an l in “All” to start the last paragraph. I just figured I’d give you the heads up. Downloading now!

  3. $2.99 isn’t too bad for a brand name game with 75 levels. I will definitely check this out. That screenshot looks pretty fun. It certainly will take more skill and be more fun than a game like flappy bird. LOL
