It is not the easiest thing in the world to develop a quality finance application. A majority of such apps on the various mobile platforms offer a very basic set of feature.

And that can be really disconcerting for users that invest time and money in them and find some key omissions in terms of features, or missing options. Luckily, Windows Store has a couple of really good ones, and one of the better one in this category is Spending Tracker.

This is a personal finance app, with an engaging (if basic) interface, that provides an overview of your current spending progress. Perhaps the best thing about this app is its light and easy learning curve.

The official description:

“Spending Tracker is the easiest and most user friendly Personal Finance App in the store. And best of all, it’s free! The simple fact is, by tracking your spending you will be able to stick to a budget and therefore SAVE MONEY.”

Start the app, and you will see the hub that provides a comprehensive outline of your current spending. Transactions are organized in one place, though you might want to upgrade to the pro version that allows repeat weekly, monthly and yearly transactions, along with Dropbox backups and CSV exports.

The bright and colorful interface of this free app, however, will be a blessing for novice users, and it comes completely touch optimized with support for 32-bit, 64-bit and ARM versions of Windows.
