A pun on I Am Legend, this colorful game has arcade and tower defense roots. You are tasked with defending plants and seeds from the surging swarms of zombies.
This free game has already made appearances on other platforms, but has finally been ported to Microsoft’s modern operating system and just recently landed on the Windows Store. What this means is that it is already a feature rich and content heavy package.
More on gameplay, but first the official description:
“Captain the Vegendary Heroes, survive the Zombiegeddon and take revenge upon the birds, the pigs, and the zombies! Enemies have joined forces to destroy all plants by trampling down young innocent seedlings, besieging the allotment and stealing the seeds!
Take charge of Vegendary Heroes’ special Fertilization Squad and hit your enemies where it hurts!”
As you can imagine, vegetables are the primary focus here.
You start the game with a single plant soldier, but up to three are available in every level. Each plant attacks differently, leading to varying levels of damage to enemies. Planets can also be promoted so they become stronger, and the frantic pace will have you thinking up new strategies.
Some 11 different plants are available, from sunflower to tomato, and there are 45 different missions for you to battle through. The game is light on requirements but high on fun, and the bright and cheery visuals are a delight. It also supports ARM based devices.
