The last few App Watch features have been a tad games heavy, what with the glut of some good new titles arriving. Watch TNT, on the other hand, puts the app back in App Watch.

It also puts the watch in App Watch, but that’s another story.

Anyway, this application, as the name plainly gives away, brings TNT shows to the Modern UI in Windows. You can watch clips and episodes of Legends, Castle, Dallas, Franklin & Bash, and some movies. That is, after you authenticate your television provider first, in order to access the steams.

The official description lays it down:

“Get complete access to television’s biggest dramas on your Windows device. Check out episode guides, watch clips and behind-the-scenes videos, set schedule reminders and, most importantly, watch on-demand episodes of The Last Ship, Major Crimes, Falling Skies, Rizzoli & Isles and more after authenticating through your television provider. Create your personal viewing history and resume where you left off on multiple devices!”

The multiple devices bit is interesting, as this is a Universal app, meaning this free app works flawlessly on Windows Phone handsets, just as it does on Windows tablets.

Standard for apps of this type, clips and behind-the-scene videos are aplenty, along with the ability to add shows and schedules. Rich Live Tile support means you have access to exclusive Windows 8 features like Snap View and pinning and all that goodness.
