ESPN is back with another Windows 8.1 app, and this one has the name of this is column in its title. WatchESPN is a free app that channel subscribers will absolutely love.

It streams live video from ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3 and some other channels from the network.

Access, as you may have guessed, is determined by your TV provider — meaning only users from the United States get the live streams, and only if their TV provider is supported by this service. If yours is, then this might just become one of your favorite Windows application if you are a sports fan.

Richly designed, with a sleek interface, WatchESPN displays information about live TV straight on the app front page. Tiles display featured and other live events, and links to sports and channels are also on display here for easy access.

All major sports and leagues are covered, from basketball to cricket, football to soccer. Clips and match highlights complete the package. Windows RT users are also invited, thanks to included ARM support.
