Windows 8.1 Update 2 Reportedly Reaches RTM Stage

As most of you are already aware, Microsoft is preparing a second pack of improvements for the Windows 8.1 operating system, and some new information on the matter has surfaced.

It appears that Windows 8.1 Update 2 has reached the RTM stage.

This information comes from the Russian group WZOR that has a very good record on Windows leaks, and according to the details posted on a forum, Windows 8.1 Update 2 was on track to reach the RTM stage this week.

Word is that Microsoft had planned a very significant event for this week, between June 23 and 27, and most estimates are that the RTM build was to be signed off.

If this is true, then the software titan might spend the next few weeks testing this second update to the operating system, before initiating delivery.

File all of this as undercooked rumors for now, as we wait for official confirmation from Microsoft on what this feature update to the OS brings. Should not be too far away now.

(Rumor): WZOR and Snowden are reportedly working together with Fox Mulder. Their is a bit of confusion as to their objectives.

If this is true, should we expect the update within the next few weeks?! Or is it still on pace for late august?
