There are a host of new features that will be introduced in Windows 8.

This post will talk about Windows 8 Biometrics

Biometrics offer users an easy way to log onto computers. Fingerprint readers can be used to authenticate and log users onto the machines.

The devices identify and authenticate the user through an infallible means of personal identification–unique fingerprints.

Windows 7 brought integrated biometric support. Many laptops include fingerprint readers and Windows 7 adds the functionality to use those readers.

This is part of a series of posts that I’ll be putting in place to kind of stake out the features I believe will be in Windows 8

It’s a good bet that Windows 8 will have Biometrics.
