This is pretty cool.

A Windows 8 date and time logon display for Windows 7.

This was created by AskVG’s DA group member “dejco” to provide the Windows 8 Metro logon look for Windows 7.

Here are instructions on how to get the look.

  1. Download the rar file
  2. Extract it using WinRAR or some other similar utility
  3. Copy MetroClock folder and MetroClock.scr file to “%windir%System32” (i.e. C:WindowsSystem32) folder
  4. run Metro.reg file which sets the MetroClock.scr screensaver as default for login screen

That should activate the new screensaver at the login screen.
