Microsoft took Windows 8 to Amsterdam today at the Microsoft TechEd Europe 2012 conference.

Apparently Windows 8 was demoed somewhat unevenly throughout the event. It seems that they used build 8400 – an evaluation copy of Windows 8 Enterprise for the demo.

Some of the Windows 8 topics discussed/demoed at the conference:

  • Remote Desktop
  • Charms
  • Dual Monitors
  • UEFI
  • Silverlight
  • Windows RT
  • Domain management

Reading the European live blog of the event, it’s a little jarring to realize that in Europe, all this stuff is till pretty new to them.

I feel like I have been living in Windows 8 for 3 years (because I have – I need to get a life).

So far, they havent gotten any Microsoft Surface information but there’s more to come.
