No tongue in cheek, I really like this quote.

One of the simplest ways to explain what Microsoft did with the upgrade to Windows Phone 8 from Windows Phone 7.5.

This quote is from Microsoft’s senior marketing manager for Windows Phone Greg Sullivan.

“The oversimplified way of putting it is that, before, you had a phone that ran programs; now you have a computer that can make phone calls,”

It’s a really clear and concise explanation. I think this guy needs to do a lot more of the PR for Microsoft.

    lol, I read this quote the other day, and I thought of recommending it for the quote of the day.  Glad to see you found it yourself.

    To me this really sums up not only the advantage this platform has in the phone side but also the tablet side.  This OS really is a cut above the competition.
