So I got a tip from a little bird that Microsoft may rename Windows 8 in order to better align the product with the upcoming Cloud 365 suite.

This is just a rumor and I have no corroborating evidence to back it up but the name that has been floated is Windows 365.

I wouldnt bet on this tip but the name actually sounds good to me.

What do you guys think?

  1. Sorry, but I think the name sounds stupid. I thin Windows 8 is much better. What would follow 365 – 22,413,973?

  2. i dont like the name of windows 365

  3. yeah no special meaning for that has to find a smart one not that 365..when i first saw it i thought it was a 365HP car 🙂

  4. It would make sense to rename Windows Intune to Windows 365, which would then include Windows 8 amongst other products. Similar with Office 365, it’s the cloud service having 365 in the name, but it still includes particular versions of the Office products, initially 2010 (then to be upgraded to future versions as part of the service).
