I found this video on Asus’s website talking about their new tablet the Asus VivoTab Smart.

As you should know, I did a review on the ASUS VivoTab RT and happen to be a big fan of the company’s hardware.

What struck me as interesting about the video was the Transleeve, the keyboard sleeve that is very similar to the Microsoft Surface Touch Cover.

From their site:

Feature: Multi-colored tablet design with 3-in-1 Transleeve for a stylish combination of Keyboard, Tablet Protection & Stand.

Having used the keyboard on the Surface, I’m definitely interested in seeing where this new keyboard falls on the spectrum of usability.

The keyboard looks like bluetooth wireless but it seems too thin to have battery in it.

I found it interesting too. I had to take a double look at the keyboard, looks just like the touch keyboard. Looks wireless, I’d like to see how it connects to the tablet. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for this.
