Windows Phone 8 has now been RTM’ed or Released To Manufacturing.

This is BIG.

Apollo (the codename for WP8) has been in development for a year and Microsoft have very high hopes for this new version of Windows Phone software.

NFC, multi-core support, 720p support and C++ development are only some of the new features expected in this new phone OS.

While there may be iterations of testing between OEM vendors and Microsoft, the code is now considered feature complete.

It’s a big day.
